We are living in an era of unprecedented advancement in communications. If there is one sector which has leapfrogged over every other sector, it is the technology of communications. Every one of us is connected with everyone else through mobile, email and twitter.
It is as if the entire globe is keeping in touch with each other.
And, there are blogs to add to the vast array of communication options. Blogs have become almost like personal diaries in space. You write all your thoughts in there. You also get feedback. People read it, comment on it, you give your replies to those comments and it grows. There are different blogs on different topics that people write and some of the blogs are being followed as if they are celebrities.
If you haven’t started blogging, it is time you started blogging your thoughts.
One of a very convenient medium to blog would be thorugh thoughts.com. It is an active social conversation site with lots of widgets for you to interact with. You can connect with your friend’s blogs and upload photos , mails etc. It also has a happening daily news section where people discuss breaking news stories.
The only rule here is that though you don’t have to agree with others’ views, you need to respect them and when you comment, you comment with respect for others’ point of view.

Management researchers have for long studied the reason why teams seem to fail time and again. They have come to three main conclusions: One, the entire team does not buy into the project’s goals and needs and the timeline and the cost structure. There are murmurs which are not voiced effectively. There are dissents which are underground. Two, lack of good communication on the issues, challenges and the progress on the project. Three, the lack of a single good platform to exchange information and keep everyone informed on how it is moving.
The first two need a lot of management training and development. But the third one can be tackled using the
Project Change Management software from geniusproject.com. This offers a unique platform through which the teams can keep communicating with each other.

You should look seriously at revamping your IT systems to reap some huge savings.
Some of the ideas could be as follows.
One, look at outsourcing your IT services. Full time employees are typically paid a lot more than the outsourced firms. Two, off lease your computers. Buying the computers outright costs a lot more than leasing them out. Three, use open source software. They are as good as Microsoft these days and Microsoft will cost you a bomb. Four, use VoIP. The normal telephone system will cost you a lot more than VoIP systems. Five, use remote online back up services. Nowadays, there are plenty of them and they cost much cheaper than backup services onsite. Six, send electronic faxes rather than the normal ones.
All of these would save you a whole lot of money.

Now we know how much Facebook is really valued at. Facebook has sold a 1.96% stake for $200m to a Russian internet firm. This shows that the social networking website is valued at $10bn. Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg said he had been impressed by Digital Sky Technology’s (DST) “impressive growth and financial achievements”. DST has investments in a number of internet firms across Russia and Eastern European. The US-based Facebook has more than 200 million global members. Whatever Facebook does or whatever is being done to Facebook, becomes news. When Facebook changed its looks, it led to one of the biggest revolutions in the internet domain. When facebook said whatever is posted on it is its own, it again created an upheavel.

There is no doubt whatsoever that twitter is very powerful. Yo send cute messages of 140 characters and call it twittering. Even the name sounds kind of funny.
But, to my mind, twitter has a serious limitation. All of Today’s youth have mobile cameras and all of them without exception are very very impatient. These very impatient young men and women want to capture images on their camera, use some tool or other to modify them, give it a twist and make it funny and share it with their friends. Twitter simply cannot do it.
Is anyone listening? Are you getting a Twitter with picture sending power ready?

Canada VoIP service in telecom circles spells comfort and that too at very reasonable rates. The ‘voice over internet protocol’ service means that you will be provided with phone services through your high speed internet. Once you place an order with their company at this site, their representative will contact you and provide you the voip adapter which will be connected to your internet modem and the phone. The company offers you free high quality Panasonic phone handset too. Now you will be ready to use your phone like any other normal phone except that you will be connected through the internet for local or international calls and all this at very low rates. I would rate their internet phone service to be the best in the region. A visit at their site will help you to understand the concept and the comfort attached. The site is good enough to answer most of the related questions.
