The six year long struggle of the UK troops in Iraq is coming to an end. Over 4000 UK troops settled in Iraq will formally begin their withdrawal in the coming weeks. Top general of the UK army will hand over the authority to US general formally.
Around 400 of the UK troops only are likely to stay back in the country for training the Iraq Navy and also for some HQ activity. This could in fact help the UK government to reduce the public ire over the loss of UK lives in Iraq on a regular basis, in the last six years.
