When summer hits, it is festivity in the air. We really come out and practically live in the garden and the pool. With the first signs of summer, the flowers are in full bloom. And, it is time to put on the shorts and go to the pool. By the time it is evening, it looks glorious. The only problem is the mosquitoes which also seem to know that we are all out there and come on to feast on us. It is not just the annoyance of mosquitoes. It is not just that you will have a mosquitoe bite or two and you need to scratch them. There is every chance of health hazards because of these mosquitoe bites. Given the scare from the swine flu, it is better to take precautions.

But, mosquitoes don’t go away or get killed that easily. There are coils, mats and vaporizers and none of them seem to have any effect on the mosquitoes. That is when I came across the mosquito magnet. Mosquito magnet works by a simple principle. It is a trap which releases carbon dioxide which the mosquitoes love. They come nearer the mosquito traps. It also has additional chemicals which add to the attraction such as octenol. the mosquitoes come into the trap and are sucked in by a suction force. They go to a chamber where they dehydrate and get destroyed.

Once these pesy mosquitoes are destroyed, there is nothing which can come in the way of enjoying the summer!
