The Google search engine seems to be marching ahead in spite of special efforts by Microsoft to break the Google leadership on the internet arena. The Microsoft product Bing has been providing better features for their customers, but still it has ended up losing market share to Google.
And Yahoo also has been losing market share, with the latest share standing at 16.38 percent. And Bing is a poor third player with 8.96 percent market share. Google is the undisputed leader with over 71 percent market share as per latest data.
Google has been providing value added features like search engine refinements , which help their users to search through the pages / websites they have visited , or through the pages / websites they have not visited. The new feature is expected to attract more users to Google from other search engines.
